At SLD Tech Inc., we stand behind the quality and performance of our products. This Warranty & Policy explains what is covered, how long coverage lasts, and how to request support if an issue arises.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY AS THIS IS A BINDING LEGAL AGREEMENT

  1. Warranty Overview

SLD Tech Inc. warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper installation, subject to the terms outlined below.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and begins on the date of purchase.

  1. Warranty Coverage by Product Type

Solar Panels

SLD Tech Inc. provides the following limited warranties for solar panels:

  • 1-Year Limited Warranty
    Covers defects in materials and manufacturing.
  • 5-Year (Below 100W) & 10-Year (100W or above) Workmanship Warranty
    Covers defects related to workmanship under normal operating conditions.
  • Performance Warranty
  • 10 Years:Panels will maintain at least 90% of their rated power output
  • 25 Years:Panels will maintain at least 80% of their rated power output

If a panel fails to meet these performance guarantees during the applicable period, SLD Tech Inc. will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund the product in accordance with this policy.

Warranty coverage for other SLD Tech Inc. products may vary. Please refer to the product documentation or contact our support team for specific warranty details.

  1. What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Defects in materials or workmanship
  • Performance degradation beyond stated limits (for solar panels)

All products must be:

  • Installed according to SLD Tech Inc. specifications
  • Used under normal operating conditions
  • Properly maintained
  1. What Is Not Covered (Exclusions)

This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:

  • Improper installation or misuse
  • Neglect, abuse, or accidents
  • Acts of nature (including lightning, fire, flooding, or extreme weather)
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Use outside the product’s intended purpose
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by third-party components or systems

Any product altered without written authorization from SLD Tech Inc. will void the warranty.

  1. How to File a Warranty Claim

To request warranty service, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact SLD Tech Inc. support using the information below
  2. Provide proof of purchase (invoice or order number)
  3. Describe the issue in detail
  4. Include photos or videos showing the defect (if applicable)

Once submitted, our team will review your claim and respond with next steps.

  1. Claim Review & Resolution Timeline
  • Warranty claims are typically reviewed within 5–10 business days
  • If approved, SLD Tech Inc. will determine whether the product will be:
  • Repaired
  • Replaced
  • Refunded (at our discretion)

Shipping costs and logistics will be communicated during the claim process.

  1. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

Returns and cancellations are subject to approval and must comply with SLD Tech Inc. return guidelines.

  • Unauthorized returns may be refused
  • Refunds, if approved, will be processed to the original payment method
  • Processing times may vary depending on payment provider

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SLD Tech Inc. shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of revenue, energy production, or profits
  • Damage to third-party equipment or systems
